What we do not promise. A backup protects data, not uptime; if you need the business running within minutes rather than hours, that is a redundancy and standby conversation with its own cost, and we scope it separately. Recovery times are only promised after they have been tested.

Can PureTechs handle backup and disaster recovery?
Yes — design, deployment, monitoring, restore testing and a written recovery plan, for offices across Mumbai and MMR, using Synology NAS, Veeam or Iperius and a cloud copy as fits the scope.
How often should business backups be tested?
A restore of real files should be tested monthly and recorded, and a full recovery of the main server or Tally data drilled at least once a year. A backup that has never been restored is a belief, not a control.
What is a 3-2-1 backup?
Three copies of your data, on two different types of storage, with one copy off site. In practice: the live data, a NAS in the office, and an offline or cloud copy that ransomware cannot reach.
Is backup to an external hard drive enough?
No. A drive that stays connected is encrypted along with everything else, and a drive that leaves the office is rarely rotated. It can be one copy of three, never the only one.
Do you back up Tally?
Yes. Tally data folders are backed up nightly with versioning, and restore is tested by opening the restored company in Tally, not just by checking the file exists.
How much does backup and disaster recovery cost?
It depends on how much data there is, how many servers and PCs are covered, whether an offline or cloud copy is needed, and how often restores are tested. We quote after an inventory of what exists, never before.
